Idea - Evolution - Targets
The Idea
DCIC Trust perception goes back to 2008 when realizing as a radiologist how demanding is the fast growing field of Radiology and how difficult is to provide "state of the art" service. The educational schemes and training courses partly satisfied the daily needs and filled only some pieces of the puzzle. The chaotic or inaccessible knowledge was endless, so the idea began through the need for immediate constant access to filtered information.
The First step
The first step began as a personal notebook, containing all the necessary medical information required to assist the daily practice of a radiologist. However the volume of the content was enlarging significantly and a new challenge had to be overcome.
On 2013 "Radiologists' Notebook" was created. "Radiologists' Notebook" consists an open source online tool that provides filtered medical information, oriented to support diagnostic and interventional radiologists round-the-clock. The website contains anatomy, pathology, classifications, differential diagnosis, techniques, protocols and much more to cover the evolving needs of radiology.
The Evolution
Our continuous motivation to cover all technological perspectives of Interventional Radiology guided us to create two open source online tools the "Interventional Radiologists' Notebook" and the "IR Equipment Assistant".
"Interventional Radiologists' Notebook" is an online tool, were an Interventional Radiologist can find information regarding treatment protocols, techniques, medication, IR service and management of patients.
"IR Equipment Assistant" is an online tool, were an Interventional Radiologist can find information about the manufacturers/vendors and equipment required to provide interventional radiology service.
On 2016 DCIC Trust Group was born to assemble our practice and organise our visions.
New expansions for the DCIC Trust Group consist the Medical services, that provide experts subspecialty diagnostic and interventional radiology practice and training solutions.
"IR Training Courses": An attempt to provide training on-demand, by constructive courses and hands-on workshops. Our target is to transmit the required knowledge, answer all the inquiries and establish state-of-the-art service to improve patients care.
The Targets
